The Indian Premier League on Friday has released the list of 332 cricketers who will go under the hammer during the VIVO IPL 2020 Player Auction in Kolkata on 19 December.
The list contains 186 Indian players, 143 foreign players and three players from Associate Nations who want to feature in the upcoming thirteenth edition of the IPL.
Initially, 997 cricketers had registered to for the auctions. However, after the eight franchise teams submitted the final shortlist of players, the number has been cut down by almost three times.

Seven foreign players, namely, Pat Cummings, Josh Hazlewood, Chris Lynn, Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Dale Steyn and Angelo Mathews will be slotted in the highest base price of Rs 2 crore as the highest reserve price.
Former Kolkata Knight Riders star Robin Uthappa features as the only Indian with the base price of Rs 5 crore. Along with him spinner Piyush Chawla, allrounder Yusuf Pathan and bowler Jaydev Unadkat are the Indian players in the price bracket of Rs 1 crore.
The Vivo IPL 2020 Auction will be a smaller auction as the eight franchises need to fill only 73 spots. The number of slots for the overseas players goes further down to 29.
The players have been divided into two categories with the capped players appearing first, followed by the uncapped players.
