With a seating capacity of over 120,000 people, the facility is owned by one of the largest conglomerates of India: Jaypee Group.

The Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT) is a 3.748 km motor racing circuit in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The circuit was inaugurated in 1990 after construction commenced in the 1980s and is one of the oldest and most popular race tracks in India.

The MMRT is a tight and twisty circuit with a variety of challenging corners. The track is also very technical, which requires riders to be precise and accurate.

The Kari Motor Speedway (KMS) is a 2.1 km motor racing circuit in Chettipalayam, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. The circuit was inaugurated in 2003 and was named after the late Sundaram Karivardhan, a racer and designer himself. The track is one of the newest race tracks in India.

The KMS is a fast and flowing circuit with a long main straight and a variety of corners. The track is also very wide, which allows for close racing between multiple riders. Drag races used to take place here in its early years. It is worth mentioning that the track is a CIK-FIA standard approved 14-corners circuit. Furthermore,  it can hold races up to the international Formula 3 category.

The KMS has hosted several major motorsport events, ranging from single seater championships Tyre, MRF to National Touring cars to one-make series of Volkswagen and the National Motorcycle championships. The track has also hosted National Karting Championship races.

New Coimbatore Circuit

The new Coimbatore Circuit will be Coimbatore’s second race track after the Kari Motor Speedway Racetrack. Coimbatore Auto Sports Transport Trust (CoASTT) has partnered up with Mumbai Falcons for the construction of the circuit, which is 3.8 km long. It is worth mentioning that the track has accreditation of FIA Grade 2 with a Grade 1 CIK track in the infield

The track is being designed by Apex Circuit Design and is expected to be one of the most advanced race tracks in India. The circuit will have a long main straight, a variety of challenging corners, and a state-of-the-art pit lane. The CIC is expected to host several major motorsport events, including MotoGP and Formula One.
