Indian Boxing Squad for Asian Games 2023: Boxing has been a regular part of the Asian Games since the inception of the event in 1951. High-Performance Director Bernard Dunne has officially confirmed that Nikhat Zareen and Lovlina Borgohain, two of India’s star boxers, have earned automatic qualification for the Asian Games 2023. The Asian Games will also serve as the first Olympic qualifiers for the Paris Olympics in 2024. Their exceptional performances have granted them the opportunity to represent India at both prestigious events, marking a significant achievement in their boxing careers. Apart from them, India’s new High Performance Director, Bernard Dunne, along with the coaching team, conducted an assessment during a national camp in Patiala as part of the selection process for the Asian Games.
