Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik has declared a prize of INR 25 Lakhs for Kishore Jena, the javelin sensation from Odisha. Kishore Jena has achieved a historic feat by being the inaugural athlete from the state to participate in the Finals of the World Athletics Championship held in Budapest.
His exceptional skills in javelin throwing were on full display as he secured an impressive fifth position. Notably, he set a new personal record by launching the javelin to a remarkable distance of 84.77 meters, thereby showcasing his extraordinary talent on an international platform.
