Delhi Capitals (DC) sealed their spot in the finals of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023, after topping the points table at the end of the league phase with a 5-wicket win over the UP Warriorz in match 20 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Tuesday.

With Delhi Capitals sealing a direct spot in the final, Mumbai Indians and UP Warriorz will now clash in the eliminator for the other final spot. DC will then clash against the winner of the eliminator between the Mumbai Indians and UP Warriorz.

After Mumbai Indians’ win earlier in the day against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), DC was under pressure to win the match to seal a spot into the final. The Meg Lanning-led team sealed the top spot and their spot in the final with a 5-wicket win.
The final match of the WPL will take place on Sunday (March 26) at 7.30 pm IST at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.
