Mohammed Siraj was born to Mohammed Ghouse and Shabana Begum in the city of Hyderabad. M Siraj’s family was not financially sound. Mohammed Siraj Father: Mohammed Ghouse, was an auto-rickshaw driver in Hyderabad. His mother is a housewife. He has one brother, Mohammed Ismail. He completed his schooling at Safa Junior College in Nampally. Siraj began playing cricket in class 7.

Mohammed Siraj – Domestic Cricket
Siraj made a name for himself when he took 41 wickets in just 9 matches in Hyderabad’s quarterfinal run in the Ranji trophy in the 2016-17 season. It was his only second season in domestic cricket. He later went on to play for the Rest of India and India A team and produced impressive performances. The step up to the big league was near and he later got the opportunity to represent India at an international level when he was selected on the tour of South Africa.

Mohd Siraj made his T20 debut against New Zealand at Rajkot, on Nov 04, 2017. On his international T20 debut, Siraj Picked up the precious wicket of New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson but went on to leak 53 runs from his 4 over Spell.
Mohd Siraj ODI & Test Debut
His ODI debut also saw him bowling an expensive spell as he conceded 76 runs against the mercurial Australians. Mohd Siraj was part of the Test Squad which head out to the West Indies but had to wait 2 years to make his debut. Mohammed Siraj IPL
The right-arm pacer made headlines during the 2017 IPL auctions when Sunrisers Hyderabad picked him up for INR 2.6 crore from a base price of 20 lakh. He only played six matches in his first season in IPL, but he impressed many by picking up 10 wickets. However, he was leaking way too many runs which saw Sunrisers Hyderabad make a strong stance and he was let go the next season. In the IPL Auction 2023, the Bangalore franchise acquired the services of Mohd Siraj for Rs 7.00 Cr.

A sturdy and athletic Siraj has a discreet run-up, which initially suggests that he is left-handed but he is not. He is, however, a right-arm bowler which allows him naturally to swing the ball away from the right-hander which allows him to take wickets if a slip is set in from early on. His bouncer deliveries are also up to the mark. He impressed David Warner and VVS Laxman when they first saw him at the nets practicing.
